He earned his Masters of Science in Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy (M.S.) and his Doctorate in Psychology (Psy.D.) after completing advanced training in mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, child therapy, cognitive neuroscience, and integrative therapy approaches. He has served as the Director of Youth Services running a 36 bed inpatient psychiatric unit for adolescents and children for 2 years, and has been in private clinical practice for over 20 years specializing in ADHD, Anxiety disorders, and neurofeedback.  He also served full time in ministry for 14 years providing counseling, family ministries workshops, marriage retreats, and parenting classes.
